Christmas Makeover!

Image
Hi guys, this week I am showing you a simple makeup tutorial for Christmas. So firstly its all about the skin. I am using the Vaseline Essential Moisture. This was in my monthly favourites and to be honest it would be a favourite all year round. I love all three scents but the oats one is perfect for this winter season. Next, I contoured by using a contour brush and some bronzing powder. This defines and sculpts your face and highlights your best features. Now I have added some blusher to brighten up my cheeks and after that I started to do my eyes. For my eyes, I have used Claire's Party Eyes Palette. I have blended bronze and gold eye shadow to create a shiny, sparkly, shimmery eye. This glittery, glitzy blend makes your eyes glimmer like a Christmas Star. I have also used some black eyeliner to define the outline of my eye. Finally, I have used a lip balm/stick which is similar to the Baby Lips brand by Maybelline, but this one is bigger and bett...

November Favourites

Image
Hi guys, It's that time again when I show you the products I have been loving this month. So lets kick it off with a bang. Our first product is a really great hair brush. Its the Tangle Teezer by Shaun P. This particular one is the original in neon pink. These brushes are genius, they detangle your hair easily in these late autumn winds and they are so cute and colourful. Since I found out about these a few years back I have never thought of going back to a normal hair brush. Quality hairbrush for quality hair. These can be slightly expensive ranging from £10-£20 but are definitely worth it. Click here to see full product details Now a compact little tub of joy. You guessed it. Its Soap and Glory. The righteous butter is AMAZING. It smells great, looks great and it is also very compact for travelling. I have this in the 50ml but I think you can get this in a variety of sizes too. This is one truly great body butter that smells fresh and feels great after a ...

Film Review -The Last Witch Hunter

Image
Hi guys, Today I will be reviewing the film 'The Last Witch Hunter'. I have already watched this in Vue Cinemas and enjoyed it very much. The age rating for this film is 12A so any viewers under this age category can't watch it. Featuring Vin Diesel and Rose Leslie, this fantastic film is worth watching. The main storyline for this film is: The modern world holds many secrets one of which is that witches live among us.. Centuries ago, Kaulder (Vin Diesel) managed to slay the powerful Witch Queen, decimating her followers in the process. Before she died, she cursed Kaulder with her own immortality, separating him from his wife and daughter in the afterlife. Her resurrection now threatens the survival of the human race as Kaulder, the only one of his kind left, faces her vengeful wrath. This powerful film is full of action, romance, comedy and supernatural mystery. It is way scarier than I imagined for a 12A film and exciting at the same time. With some super creepy...

October Favourites

Image
Hi guys, In this post I will be showing you my favourite items to use from this October. I will put images of the products on this post in order. So the first item is... Vaseline essential moisturiser is really good as it is not greasy like many other creams and it also allows make up to settle properly and stay on the skin. It comes in 3 scents cocoa butter, aloe vera and oats. This particular bottle is scented like oats which makes it smell really nice and feel really nice too. This is my favourite out of the three bottles. Next is the beautifully scented Mango body mist by Nirvana Spa. This is a gorgeous bottle of body mist that is very tempting to eat and smells amazing!!!! I recommend this product as it has a superb scent, you can get it in regular size bottles or small ones for on the go to work or school and now this great brand is on offer in Asda across the UK. Handy anywhere, anytime for a quick spritz and a dashing smell. Now this is a great lipstick colour for ...

Me, My Books and I

Image
Hi guys, I like reading. In fact, I love reading. It is relaxing and calming and lets me see things from a different point of view. There are so many good books out there which can inspire you, make you have an open mind and fill you with pleasure and joy. So that's why today, I will be showing you books that I have read and books that I am currently reading. I hope you can leave your book suggestions below and I will look forward to reading them. So let's start with what I am currently reading. At the moment I am reading the Confessions series by James Patterson. These are great mystery books and are definitely worth reading. I am reading the second one which is the yellow one below and it is really good. You must read the first book to know what is happening in the second. Also the Malory Towers series is pretty good and contains serious fun. This series is great for young girls and it is jam packed with boarding school banter. This book series is based on a girl ca...

October Talk

Hi Guys, Today I will share a few things that I have caught on camera so far in October. So read, enjoy and stay tuned! Lunar Eclipse So did any of you get to see this ultra rare experience of the moon. Well, I did and it was fantastic. I woke up at about 2am in the morning and sat around waiting in my room gazing out my window until about 2.45am and that's when it all began. The white moon faded out in an arc shape and then the bright orange/red moon glowed and beamed down to earth. It was extraordinary. Beautiful and magnificent, I grabbed my camera and got tonnes of great shots before I went back to bed. The next blood moon/supermoon is not coming back for a long time, so I am glad to has captured it on camera. Autumn has arrived The other day I thought to myself where are the conkers and the leaves and the beautiful autumn scenes we get to see every year. Then I finally got the chance to see the beautiful red leaves on some trees nearby. That was the p...
