Party Make-Up Products

Image
Welcome back to another post. This post is another spin off of the summer make-up products and winter make-up products post I did previously. So here are the products I use to create a party suited makeup look.   The first product I used was this foundation , this is one foundation I will definitely stick with as it suits me really well and is very affordable. Next I went in with some bronzer . The one I love most is Rimmel's one as it is really light and leaves a nice glow. Then I went in with some highlight. I use S&G's Highlight and Sculpt stick as it really does highlight and sculpt. I have had so many compliments about this highlight, so I definitely recommend it. For eyeshadow I usually go for nudes or darks which is what I did here. I used a dark purple colour and blended it out. After that I vamped up my eye look by using this mascara by Rimmel and S&G's Supercat eyeliner . Both these products are amazing. The mascara lengthens and defines y...

Why I Dislike A Lot Of Popular People...

Image
This might get real deep so just giving you a pre-warning. This post is about why I dislike, not hate because that is a strong word, many "popular" people.  Let's get it straight first, by "popular" I am referring to a specific kind of popular, the type in large groups, who use the power they have in negative ways. Reason 1: Hatred against certain types of people. Bullying, racism and sexism are all types of hatred. Personally, I have experienced racism and know of people who have had a similar experience happen to them.  The people who believe violating others because of their culture, ethnicity or race is okay. These people use the large groups they're in, as a source of confidence to perform behaviors that offend others. Being in this "popularity" state of mind gives the person power to think they can say and do as they like, because they have "supporters" in their group as defence for themselves. Reason 2: In-direct actions...

Results Day 2017

Image
It is that time that every student has been waiting for. Yes, results day!! I never really got bothered by it until a week before, when all the panic and worry settled in. And the most worry was for my maths grade because that is my weakest point. But I can say it worked out well in the end.  Me and my sister headed up to school together to collect my results. I was happily surprised to see I got an A in History and English, two subjects I never thought I'd get an A in. On the day I saw a few of my friends who also did really well in their exams. Overall the day was really good, and nice and sunny too. After results I went to my new college to enroll, and yes I got onto all of my courses which I am very pleased with. I have chose to do Literature, History and Psychology, all of which are going to be very intense I'm sure. So that was my stressful, exciting and crazy results day, tell me about yours in the comments. Adios!!!!

My NCS Experience!!!

Image
NCS... What is that you might say?? My answer... one of the best experiences of my life. It is the National Citizen Service , a programme funded by the British government for 15 to 17 year olds to experience new things, make new friends and build new skills. Let me tell you it was unforgettable...  NCS is split into 3 phases. Phase 1 is Adventure, you go to an outdoor education centre for 5 days and enjoy all the cool activities it has to offer. You get to know your team really well in the activities too. Our group went to Kirkley Hall in Northumberland. Activities we did were things such as, high ropes, rock climbing, abseiling, hiking and gorge walking. I enjoyed phase 1 so much, I met so many new people and we instantly clicked as friends. The rooms we stayed in were dorms, the rooms were shared by just 2 people so you got to know your room mate quite well.  On the right are photos of my friends on the high ropes. Phase 2 of NCS is even better. It is th...

NEW Beauty Buys!!!

Image
First of all, can I just say how Summer has well and truly kicked off here in the UK. It has been so lovely and warm lately I just hope it stays this way. Anyway back to this weeks post, I am going to show you some seriously amazing beauty products I recently discovered and instantly fell in love with. This post is a collaboration with Anna Goodes from annagoodes.wordpress.com be sure to check out her blog. Hunting the aisles of Boots and Superdrug for the perfect mascara at a reasonable price...then i found this. Rimmel London's Extra 3D Lash mascara lengthens and creates a fuller lash look. And I just love it, YESSS!! Aside from make up, this product has been a miracle for me. It is Simple Oil Balancing Face Wash. I found this quite useful, as if you're like me and you love wearing make up a lot then this will definitely balance out the oils on your face. And I know after wearing make up all day, your skin can feel a little oily. Ta Da! I have been...

Winter Make-Up Products

Image
Hi Guys, If you didn't know already, this blog post is the last one for a while, so I can focus on exams and schooling. But I will be back in July. I had a long term break like this last year on my blog and this year will be the same. So if you want to keep up with me throughout the break then follow my Instagram or Snapchat. Anyway this post is a sequel to Summer Make-Up Products , which is a post I done previously. So it was only right to show you what products I use in Winter. Most products are linked to their corresponding websites, so check them out if you like what you see. If you want to enlarge an photo, simply click on it. This is a must have, if you want a winter glow. I recently bought the S&G Made You Blush in the shade Rosy Chic. This blusher is great as it isn't too pigmented, so you get a light fresh winter glow. I purchased this from the Soap And Glory counter in a Boots store. Next I have NYC Skin Matching Luminizer. This is a great lumin...

7 Annoying Things That Happen During Exams

Image
Hi Guys, This post is quite different from my normal sort of thing. Today we're listing things that happen in exams. 1. The "What on earth" question. This is the one question where you literally don't have a clue. You sit there silently thinking to yourself. What on earth. 2. The looker. In proper exams your not supposed to look at other people, but when someone drops a pen and it echoes across the hall. Your instinct is to look. 3. The "Easy" person. This is the guy who walks out the exam hall and as soon as he has left, he says " that was easy, so easy." Whilst everyone else stands there worrying if they have even scraped a C. 4. The Click nightmare. This can be two things: one being the idiot who clicks their pen 24/7.  Or it can be the snotty looking invigilator who wears high heels, and clicks them every step she takes.  5. The "All Day Reviser" and "The No Reviser".  This is the person who revises day and...
